So it seems as you appear particularly fond of confusing "hippies" with those concerned with sustainable populations and/or animal butchery. But please, tell us how it really is.

if they were concerned with sustainable populations then theyd have no reason to pulll this bullshit

theyre hippies and your fuckin ass is too

ME, I, am concerned with sustainable populations and I also encourage use of the land and seas through harvest for sport and sustenance

shoot me, the whale population is fine, the dolphin population is fine, these targets are acting within their companies legislature and some american hippy is gonna come around and shit on their hard work?

Oh yeah? How so? Please define for me what you think a hippy is and I will honestly tell you which qualifications I meet.

I doubt that seriously. My contention isn't with hunting per se when the animal is utilized to its fullest extent. Killing something just to watch it die and feed your superiority god complex is repugnant. See the difference?

FUCK U IDIOTS SAVING CHIMPS, WHEN'S THE LAST TIME U SAVED A COCKROACH

you cock guzzlers are out of control and p. funny

Wait, are you talking about Whale Wars? Because I am a pretty staunch Environmentalist and even those people make me . I am not a huge fan of destruction of property, not because I actually care about the lives of those effected or their stuff, but rather anything worth destroying probably has insurance and is just going to get replaced with new stuff which takes up even more limited resources to make.

the hunt fin whales (900 something) and humpbacks (50) in the southern pacific per year

youre numbers are off there are 80,000 humpbacks and way way more fin whales than what you listed

Hopefully, that's true. It was just a quick search to make a prompt reply. Hell, I'd love for someone to post that those species are no longer endangered at all. But the idea that whales are in the clear is completely false.

What I am saying is that the limits placed on seasonal harvest is more than sustainable....is it not?

what really is goin to waste is when those idiots shoot chemicals to intentionally ruin the meat of the whales making their harvest pointless

that should really boil your blood, I agree with you that you should only kill with intent to use and not wantonly destroy...so it should make you mad that these hippies do so much to waste animal carcasses

Dude, I know there are hunters that do the right thing and eat the meat and utilize what they can. Perhaps you feel I was being too general. My ire is directly toward the mentality that permits the wanton butchery of another creature so they can say "rawr, I'm a human!" (e.g. Trophy hunting).

the animal still gets used in trophy hunting

so its not really wanton butchery, its just killing a large animal and...using it

Like I said, if we're talking about the Whale Wars thing, then there isn't much disagreement. I believe their intentions are good but they are going about it in completely the wrong way.

^ I wouldn't describe a proper "use" of an animal being merely to kill it, stuff it and mount it on your wall.

I'd say from my experience as a hunter, and from those I know, that even in the trophy kills the meat is still utilized.
I flew my ass way the hell up to Canada and shot a Caribou and brought back every pound of meat I could fly home, and got the antlers mounted. The rest of the meat went to local folks. Namely the guide and his family.

I think your perception of hunters being wasteful is as accurate as saying all hippies take hostages at the Discovery Channel.
