Anyone want to put together a system to stream all the NCSU football games? Here's what I think we need: (or similar)

Computer
Tuner Card (w/ radio pickup)
Antenna -or- feed from Dish/DirecTV/TWC box (HD?)
Minimum 3Mb/sec uplink (I'm thinking U-Verse)
? location close enough to pick up radio/TV signal

I have the computer and a terrestrial HD antenna to contribute. I'll also take on the responsibility of signing in remotely to start the stream; and I'll make sure it's compatible with Android/BB/iPhone (most likely audio only - there's a limit to how much my free computer can encode .)

Obviously I live 90 minutes from Raleigh and can't pick up jack. So someone will have to contribute the basement or somewhere to set this sucker up; see location info above.

If all you want to stream is the radio broadcast all you need is a computer, soundcard, radio and shoutcast. Assuming you live near one of the Wolfpack radio network.

I streamed the radio feed a while back, and also the audio from the tv feed a few times.

THANK YOU to all our streamers. I caught 2 games last year despite being waaaaay out of the network, lol.

However, this year I'm hoping some organization will bring the game up to par. I'm talking with some kids living on campus right now - netting the direct-to-WRAL antenna positioning and a connection that's capable. My hope is to pull of HD video streaming on at least 1 game.

I already have a system capable of streaming video for iphone, blackberry, android and a wii in HD over the local network. I'll toss in shoutcast for audio-only feeds and we'll be set. But pulling 2-3 stream types rings in about 5-6Mbit of bandwidth. Which is honestly my biggest problem at the moment.

If I feel froggy tomorrow I may set up a stream again. I've recently built a new computer and haven't set everything up yet and when I streamed it before no one appreciated it so I stopped doing it.

like this week, if you have twc, you have to have the special tier to get it (it is on cbs sports and won't come in if you don't have that tier- which we dont)
