it's a comic called "A Simple Apology"
apparently it ran for a few years but pretty much became abandoned by April 2010... i found it via a link from the Hyperbole and a Half comic/blog
it's not uproariously-LOL-funny (like some Hyperbole comics), but more of a snarky-chuckle-on-the-inside funny.
