um, no. the Chappelle Show featured relevant and compelling social commentary. he peaced out because he was weary of being misunderstood, controlled and exploited. he certainly wasn't bojanglin'.

If he wanted he could go to FX and do whatever he wants. They have a track record for just handing out money without any creative control.

^^Chappelle ran the show, along with his (former?) friend Neal Brennen. The same dude he wrote Half Baked with.

according to him, he started to feel like he was losing control, and this contributed to him shutting shit down.
