My boss has always gone all out for Halloween in the past, but this year will take the cake. He says he still has a few finishing touches but was willing to let me share this. It is fully operational with working lights, sound effects, spinning dome, etc. He controls it from a dashboard he wired up inside the unit. Built it from scratch over the last year. You have to take a look, great work from one of our own.

Oh, and he also happens to do the comm/radios for the Wolfpack football team. So when you see him on the sidelines of the next game tell him I need a promotion.

Dat 190% awesome, but it's gotta be uncomfortable as shit. Super cool but hella impractical as a Halloween costume; he won't get to talk to anyone at a party or event. More practically, he should have made a C3PO costume for himself and put a fairly discreet controller for R2D2 on his own suit so he can have R2D2 follow him around.

a) You definitely have to be small to fit in. His head touches the dome so its definitely cramped. He put in two 120mm PC exhaust fans in to help circulate air but its still hot and humid as hell.
b) he's an engineer so talking to people at parties probably wouldn't happen anyways
