i have to have a delineation between work and home.

i made work get me a work specific blackberry so i have two separate devices. it sort of sucks having to keep up with two, but there are also times i can just completely leave my work BB at home or turn it off and not worry about things for a little while.

i cant even imagine working from home. i see some of the pluses, but they would quickly be outweighed for me.

It certainly takes a good amount of discipline. (that said and I'm on TWW instead of working)



It is nice not having a commute or to wear pants, but yeah, it does get lonely. A good podcast or two helps get me through the day.

I need to have an isolated room or office at home to make it work.

When I try it in the main living room, the tv, the xbox, the dog, the fridge and the porn distract me from getting anything done.

I have a lot of remotes on my team, and I used to envy them a lot. Then i realized how much of a hit being remote is to your career.
