I would more likely believe they were on some bad drugs, both OD'd, mixed/matched poorly, some other drug related death, or that there was foul play and the cops are still trying to get evidence and don't want anything to get out to the media

yeah, 2 people don't go and hang out on a fire escape and then both just keel over b/c of natural causes... if it were just one of them, then yeah, maybe I could see stroke, aneurysm, heart failure, etc... but for both of them to be dead- SOMETHING IS AMISS!!

I'm going to guess accidental OD. Two friends try something new and don't know their limits. They ingest the same amount of the drug at the same time and become incapacitated around the same time.

Although I still find it really strange that one didn't last long enough to realize the problem and dial 911. With our relatively strict drug policy and expensive healthcare people often have a very distorted view of what's in their own best interest.

Speculation at this point feels a little sick though.
