If you are trying to get in 9 holes before dark? As in: cheap place near Raleigh that has 9 hole rates.

I don't golf at all, but a lot of my friends say knights play is a good course for your money.

Lake Shore's not bad for the money, kinda on the edge of Durham / Raleigh though

Hands down Crooked Creek. 10 bucks to walk 9 if ur a student (they dont usually card). Nice course. Back 9 is pretty long w/ several par-5s. Much better than RGA imo.

Pine Hollow isn't bad either. Out by Garner though. $14 to walk 9 after 2 PM
