i bought a six pack of blenheim ginger ale at the farmer's market yesterday for $7...i got their hottest (the woman said they had hot, "regular", and diet)

this shit is weak...not impressed

red rock is much much better and is only $1/bottle

for something simple like this, i don't get why they'd make two versions...surely it costs more to have two recipes and multiple batches

i would imagine corn isn't subsidized in bermuda like it is here (though i could be wrong), so i would think it's more expensive

i get that for domestic products because HFCS is cheaper and companies would rather save the money than buy unsubsidized cane sugar...but for imported products? is there a tax (or higher tax) for products made with sugar rather than HFCS?

i really like blenheim. the hot is too hot for me though. i haven't tried many. i don't like reed's. i only realized a few months ago that i actually like drinking ginger ale other than when i'm sick.

i agree with this

but having had several varieties of "real" ginger ale (or beer or whatever you want to call it), i can honestly say that blenheim is, by far, the blandest and its "hot" variety is a far cry from the others

granted, i've only had a 6-pack of blenheim...maybe it was a bad batch? i still think i'll save money and go with red rock, which is cheaper and tastes better (zomg, snob!)

Blenheim is great. I have friends that have me bring the hot Blenheim Ginger Ale back from SC whenever I go to visit because it's awesome with bourbon. Blenheim has changed however because they were purchased and it's no longer made at the spring in Blenheim.

(my grandmother and that side of my family are from Blenheim.)
