so I log in today to find this message from a girl I went to middle and high school with:

Well, I usually say "hope you're doing okay" or "Hey, are you doing alright?" in any generic message I leave. But you're probably right, that assumption you've made about all evangelicals is much more likely to be the case than a common social norm or saying. Just playing devil's advocate here.

yeah, i actually feel like i'm kinda forced to stay "in the closet" about my non-religious beliefs.. it's not exactly "cool" with my friends and family, but the internet seems like a good place to let it out. although i certainly don't care enough to try to argue with anybody about what they or i do or don't believe.
