What I liked about Wallis' class (and maybe it's the same with the other teachers) is that you could openly tell him in class discussion that the film sucks. His perspective was "ok, make an intelligent argument using what we've learning in class about why and how it sucks." He made you think.

The American Directors class I took was pretty awesome, and I signed up for the Sci-fi class but I got tired of a 4 hour class on wednesday nights pretty quickly and dropped it.
