Anyone know who they are thinking about getting for the packhowl concert? I heard that ECU is having Ludacris.

We had him in 2010 too. Nearly a month ago, 7000 students/faculty/staff saw him for free. $15 for ECU students.

But back to the OP, the last I heard is that they are just doing local bands. It kinda sucks because of how good the football team is this year.

If we got the Pack there would be a demand for tickets unlike anything NCSU has ever seen before.

But yeah I wish we got somebody good. Ludacris was a big name and the last few songs of his concert at Reynolds last month was okay, but the first half was pretty terrible.

Yeah, i took my little brothers to the Ludacris concert in 2004! Reynolds was fucking PACKED. it was a kick ass concert!!

He told us that out of all of the universities he had performed at, he had not felt the an energy like the one we gave him in reynolds. It was so loud in there you would have thought State was beating UNC in bball.

The man gave one hell of a concert. It was worth every penny i spent on the 4 tickets!

Ludacris, gave a "FREE" concert at NCSU a month ago...???

Wow.....I wonder what made him do that...b/c when we went back in 2004 it def. wasnt a free concert. Those tickets were like $60 a piece. but we seriously enjoyed ourselves, and there had to be like 14000-15000 people in reynolds back in 2004 when he gave his 1st concert here.

Maybe he was just rewarding us for the crazy turnout we had the last time. Wow you dont here about celebrities doing crap for free anymore??!

It was part of a USO tour. They covered his cost. UAB covered production.

N.E.R.D. was 2 years ago

Uh... no, they weren't. I can guarantee you I've never paid $60 to see a Ludacris concert.

This year's HC concert is held at the same time as men's basketball home opener vs Tennessee Tech.
