There was a burglar years ago in Raleigh, he'd rob homes but all he'd do is knock on the door and then try to open it. If someone answered he'd just be like "oops, wrong house", and if no one answered he'd try the door and if it was unlocked he'd rob them. He got a lame nickname too, "the friendly bandit" or some shit like that.

Uhhhhh... This doesn't sound like a robbery. The guy gave them a note asking for money and they gave it to them. If a homeless guy comes up to me and asks me for money and I give it to them, does that mean I've been robbed? How about these banks stop performing charitable donations and just say "no?" They don't see a weapon or anything.

that's how all banks train their employees to handle notes like that

i wonder what would happen if you handed a teller a note that said, "can you please hand me all of the money in your drawer, this is not a robbery but instead a request."

would they still give it to you, while also making you legally safe?

the teller would probably do it

and you'd probably still be convicted if caught

^ That is stupid (not your response, the bank if that's how they actually function). How about they GROW A PAIR and just say NO.

Apparently I've been robbed for years and I didn't even know it.

I'm meeting a guy to get cornhole bags tomorrow. If i don't return, I'd like the name "Cornhole Killer" to be used"
