I did some deep thinking this week trying to figure out why I've become a 'quote, unquote' "racist".

It's not something I strive to be and I remember in my youth thinking racists were stupid.

I am friends with people from other races and not in the "i talk to a black guy at work im not a racist" kind of way.

I realize that my racism is counter productive and offends people rather than my ultimate goal as a human to help others and enjoy life.

I came to the realization that most of my racist feelings have derived from a recent experience.

The election. Obama was supported blindly by the blacks even though he threatened to ruin the country for young aspiring individuals who wanted to make their mark, achieve wealth, and pursue happiness.


Reflection: I will admit that I made the mistake of blindly hating the blacks over this event. I can see why they voted for him because it was a defining moment for their race and if I was in the same situation I might have done the same thing. However, my racism and vitriol for the blacks has grown as time has passed and they still defend the evil he stands for.

Compromise: I want to stop putting forth racist overtones and spewing general hate in exchange for the blacks admitting they made a huge mistake and backing away from their support for Obama and his unabashed hatred of this country.

We gotta change the way we eat, change the way we live, and change the way we treat each other.

Let's make the world a better place, not just a better place for blacks or whites. Let's enter this election season voting for the issues and not for the person that's the same color as you are.

My post is honest. I dont back down from the context in which I use the word "the blacks".

If they want to vote as one, they will be identified as one.

If you want to be treated as an American identify yourself as one and stand for it's principles.


And for the record, I equally hate the whites who voted for Obama so this isn't truly a racial stance at all.
