^^ Agreed. I got a rate quote online from them once and they've not stopped hounding me with junk mail since. Their rates were a joke. Even when I added in a federal employee discount it was still like 75% more expensive than the company I went with for less coverage and features.

but it drives me crazy that they have so many spokespeople:

1. Gecko
2. The "could switching to geico really save you 15% or more on car insurance..." guy

I wonder how much cheaper Geico insurance would be if they scaled the money budgeted toward buying air space back by just 10-15%?

I haven't lived in Raleigh for a while, but those "TAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAO TAO SUZUKI OF FUQUAY VARINA" commercials were annoying as hell.
