OK, so my dog has many instances of retard-om, but today he has made it tww thread-worthy

so what he did today: he got excited over nothing (not uncommon) and started doing 'puppy sprints' (again not uncommon)

the problem occurred when he was running down the stairs (which has a 180 degree turn in them) and put his head through the wall... he sat there barking because he got himself stuck and managed to make the hole worse while struggling to get out.

the dog is alright, but damn it- that is the second hole he has put in the dry wall. At least I saw this one and know how he is doing it. The only problem is that I am not a dry wall guy at all and do not want to have to learn how to fix this on 2 separate holes. That (not-so) little fucker is gonna drive me nuts

I guess this thread is for instances where your pet does something so stupid that you have to share it and laugh about it

TTT- the little jerk is sound asleep, snoring up a storm. This means he will be wide awake and begging to play at about 4am

our cat gets the midnight crazies where he yells and sprints around the house at weird hours of the night. I've gotten to the point where I can sleep through it (but it wakes up the fiance, who yells at him, and thus wakes me up)

OK, I'll start with the pics portion of the thread then. My dog does many stupid thing, but the one thing I have pics of is the fact that he likes to sleep on top of things that would appear to be uncomfortable. Exhibit A, a small plastic storage crate.

Exhibit bB, he is actually sleeping with his nose proped on the ground like a kickstand.

My bunny is smart as f**k. She plots things.

My dad's two yappy Maltese dogs(inherited from divorce) are the most annoying and dumb animals ever.

Bongo has a habit of barking (not at human beings or other dogs) but at leaves as they blow across the sidewalk.

So I guess I should feel relieved that if I ever get mugged by a pile of leaves he will come to my defense

Oh and here is Bongo:

Brett, are you considering getting rid of Peyton?

As far as my dog, for some reason he is deathly afraid of...the slap chop. Ya know, that thing you use in the kitchen to chop veggies/fruits into lots of tiny squares. He'll run away and hide in a closet and shake for 30 minutes.

On the flip side if there's a thunderstorm or a big dog barking at him or a loud car he could care less.

we had a bichon frise that I think was retarded and would bark at anything. Leaves, rain, snow... anything. He also tried to run out into the back yard every day, and every day ran right into the glass door... he never learned

^haha no- we are going to be getting him professional help after the holidays though (when we have a little more $ and we won't have to interrupt training time with traveling and boarding)

the training is gonna be around 150 bucks for the first set of classes

My dog would make a horrible search dog.

We trained her to recognize a couple of her toy's by name. Problem is if the toy is hidden behind or under something she says fuck it and gets a random toy that's easier to find. I could see her being on the hunt for a missing child, saying fuck it, and just heading to the nearest daycare center to claim a random child

Bob barks at just about anything that's out of place. Last weekend he stood at a door barking at a flower pot for 5-10 mins before somebody walked outside and moved it so that he couldn't see it anymore. Then the world was perfect again.

My stairs are hardwood and have two 90 degree turns. Butler ran down them excited and busted his ass on two separate occasions and was scared of all stairs for a period.

Now the stairs have a runner.

My miniature schnauzer is scared of the dark. We got her from the schnauzer rescue and she had been abused. If its dark outside everything becomes a monster and she barks her head off. Also, she won't enter a dark room by herself. She waits for me or my gf to turn on a light in the bedroom before she will come in and lay down.
