If cops shoot more than zero times, they will shoot at least a dozen times.
In other words, once the decision, (right or wrong) is made to shoot, they all shoot repeatedly to kill.
It's my understanding that this is "by the book."

Not sure how to even translate that. Looks like I was quicker to pull the trigger on an armed white and quicker to holster on an unarmed black. I blame latent white guilt. Of course it's a difference in fractions of a second, so likely you can't read anything into it at all.

Got shot once, by a white guy. I didn't shoot any innocents.

What can I conclude from this? It takes me less time to determine someone has a gun than to confirm that they do not. If I weren't sitting behind a computer screen and I felt my life was actually in danger, I might not be inclined to take that .05 extra seconds to figure out what the real answer was.
