lol a man wouldn't react the way a hormonal pregnant woman did. that's not sexist, it's biology.

Got to go to the ER yesterday. She is 30 weeks prego and fell down the stairs.

I was at work when I got the call that they were taking her away in the ambulance. I used all 8-cylinders and got to the hospital less than 5 mins after they did.

I work quite a distance from the hospital. The Jeep can hit 3 figs and handle like a champ!

Pretty scary. Baby and mom are okay.

Nursery is done though

anyone in the area want to unload any maternity clothes? I wear a large in motherhood maternity leggings, 8 or 10 in normal pants, and a medium or large in tops.

Paging elkaybie, se7entythree, and wolfpackgrr or anyone else who wants to give away or sell any clothes.

I've been loaning mine out to expecting mommies since I'll need them again for round two, and they are currently out on loan.

I have a bunch of stuff. A lot of handmedown tops, but most of the pants were things I bought. I wore an 8/10 before pregnancy & medium most of the time in tops too. We are done having kids so I definitely don't want this stuff anymore, and my SIL is like a size 0 so she'd never fit in my clothes lol. You're definitely welcome to them. I'm in Rocky Mount though. I'm definitely going to Raleigh on Oct 12th bc we're celebrating our dating anniversary & mom is keeping Parker. Not sure if I'll go b/w now & then but I can let you know.

Give me a few days to pull stuff together & I can take pics & send to you. I also have a swimsuit that I actually really liked a lot, but only got to wear once. PM me your email.

So I'm the only one really posting in here, but I don't mind talking to myself.

I am getting all these odd symptoms that I previously did not know were pregnancy related. Top two: nosebleeds and hand pain. My joints in my fingers hurt so bad.

Also, I love maternity leggings and will wear them forever!

I will check with Jen and see if she has any of that stuff laying around she needs to get rid of. Unfortunately, we already gave away a bunch of baby stuff to Ashley, yes I know, so I dont know how much may be left but I shall check

She is too skinny for me to fit in her clothes, unless she has some tops that flare at the bottom.

I have invested in a bunch of maternity leggings and I may just wear them the entire pregnancy. So comfy.

I had nosebleeds too. Ended up with carpal tunnel toward the end of my pregnancy that I got a wrist guard; wore it for a month after pregnancy too. Also my eyes were so dry, I mainly wore my glasses instead of contacts throughout my pregnancy. Then heartburn & constipation.

This is the pregnancy thread so I don't feel that's TMI

Maternity leggings are pretty awesome. I still sleep in some and my yoga pants I got.

He went to State from 1999-2003 and studied Electrical Engineering. He also worked at the Iceplex for fucking ever. Other than that he kept almost the same social circles from age 16 until now. Oh, he went to East Wake High School.

So I think I'm feeling the baby move now (almost 16 weeks) but it is so hard to tell because it is so brief and infrequent. I sometimes feel what feels like a goldfish flopping around in my lower abdomen and other times it is just like what I imagine a ripple in a pond feels like to the pond. Almost like a bubble pop, but it doesn't feel like gas. I feel the goldfish feeling most often when I'm in the bathtub. It took a long time to get used to a Luke warm bath but now I love them.

This is a huge long shot since no one is really responding to this thread, but has anyone out there got any experience dealing with polycystic ovarian syndrome or insulin resistance while pregnant?

Hey Elise,
I am currently 36 weeks pregnant and have PCOS- I found out I have it 3 years ago and I husband and I kept putting off getting fertility treatments done (saying like, oh after my birthday or after vacation well go back- and just kept avoiding it). We like to joke that God finally got tired of us waiting, and i got pregnant on "accident" earlier this year (meaning we weren't activity not trying to get pregnant).

I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes around 28 weeks. It hasnt been that big of a bother for me. I know the things I can eat and what I cant- and I can handle any diet for a few months.

I dont know if you have any specific question, but you are welcome to message me. Another kicker is that I developed pre-eclampsia and am on hospital supervised bed rest to get me to 37 weeks so I have a little bit of free time
