I don't see too much of an issue with the "buy at the end of the month" deal. The guy can continue to sell the pieces, but knows that this other guy will be in talks.

Sure, kinda shitty in that one buyer wants the pieces, but without further discussions or price negotiation the seller would have to stop selling the gear without any kind of firm deal set.

well, i'm sure that most people would rather sell their stuff in one big lump, but as was noted in the thread, the odds that the seller will find someone in a position to buy all of that equipment at once is pretty low

a good seller would be willing to part it out and ask more per piece than they would selling as a whole with the idea that they still get what they were looking for even with a few pieces left over

duke isn't available to buy right now and, as far as i can tell, didn't ask that the dude hold onto anything...not sure what's douche baggy about what duke has done
