Is there something I'm missing?

How can anyone stand this? It doesn't even sound like a human is singing. I fucking hate autotune.

Exactly...I mean I can handle it in small parts. You know when it's added in there just for the cool effect...of when it's t-pain...cause well he is on a boat.

But yeah, and this dude has a whole following of white kids that think he is the most amazing thing since sliced bread.

It's not that people like it, it's just that it helps ease the transition to the top 40 being dominated by Japanese robots.

don't know how anyone who is obsessed with that band thinks their opinion about music is valid in any way, shape, or form.

Yeah cause liking a band with talent (even though they are a band that everyone associates with a song that came out in 1997 that they wrote when they were all younger than teenagers) that a lot of people don't like automatically makes me have a bad taste in music.

It makes me unable to understand the talent behind autotune.

But apparently this is the type of stuff that everyone likes so that automatically makes it really good. Right?

I liked it and would listen to it again. They depict black women as brainless bowlegged booty-shaking golddigging whores and he uses the "once you go black, you never go back" cliche.

A+++

I mean this song is so much better than the Lil Wayne song that they aren't even on the same planet.

I don't think mixing rap and rock was the best direction for weezy to go.

I will totally admit that Hanson actually does a pretty fucking good cover of Radiohead's "Optimistic"

i hate autotune as much as the next guy

but the shit sounds good in the club.

its kind like chopped n screwed music, the intent is to distort which while drinking it creates that kind of distortion effect that fits the mood of the sleazy college bar that all you motherfuckers like to frequent anyway

and none of you fuckers request that good shit to the DJ anyway so quit actin all high n mighty

Autotune is far from being the only thing wrong with that Lil Wayne song.

They simplified an already simple guitar riff from Blink 182's All the Small Things then plugged into autotune. How is that creative?
