Me: I'd like a bloomin onion, a filet medium rare with an order of cheese fries
Them: Ok, that'll be $23.49 and it will be ready in about 20 minutes
Me: Ok great
Them: We'll see you when you get here!
Me: Alright
Them: Bye!
Me: I love you

i purposefully hang up at the end of the relevant dialogue to move the plot along, without ever wasting time saying bye or formally ending the conversation, because the audience understands that the bye is not necessary after the plot has been moved forwards, and as long as the audience understands so must the person on the other end of the call

I don't say anything, I just let the silence at the end of a conversation linger until it becomes palpably uncomfortable, then as soon as they start to say something to fill the void I hang up.

I always say I'll see you later or I'll talk to you later simply because I feel goodbye could be too permanent.

"alright then..." and then just repeat whatever they say ("bye", "talk to you later"...)

Or if I'm just trying to get someone to shut up "alright, well, let me go"

I used to say "Peace out", but then some black people said I wasn't allowed to say that anymore, so now I say "Cheers".
