1. Dennis Miller 2. Norm Macdonald 3. Chevy Chase 4. Kevin Nealon 5. Jane Curtain
** The Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Seth Myers dual anchor combos of the 2000's are the worst, followed closely by Colin Quinn. (Myers is okay by himself) 11/20/2010 2:50:15 AM |

i would have at least accepted the OP until he said that Colin Quinn was not the worst. he was by far the worst, of all time, and by not thinking so everything else you said is invalidated 11/20/2010 3:30:59 AM |

Meh, they were all good in there own right. It is really up to the writers and the stories (and the "guests" they have on update) 11/20/2010 7:45:45 AM |

I agree, anyone who doesn't think Quinn was the worst by far has no say in the matter 11/20/2010 10:13:12 AM |

Colin Quinn is a hilarious comedian and he was way funnier and more interesting on Weekend Update than Jimmy Fallon/Tina Fey/Amy Poehler/Seth Myers 11/20/2010 10:48:03 AM |

^^ I clearly have a say in the matter, and I pretty much stated he was awful in the op. 11/20/2010 11:58:43 AM |

I have a hard time believing that people who weren't alive when Chevy Chase (and any other 70s/early 80s SNL cast member) manned the Weekend Update desk actually find his/their performance all that funny.
Most older SNL doesn't hold up. Comedy, much more than drama, is prone to becoming dated. Especially crap like SNL that is so dependent on pop-socio-cultural commentary. 11/20/2010 12:19:02 PM |
