I'm at the computer trying to get some work done, and one of our cats decides he wants to sleep on my lap. Ok, no problems...except the dog is underfoot and under the desk and generally moving around.

Eventually I decide it's time for the cat to sleep somewhere else, so he gets tossed off the lap.

...then the dog jumps up.

I think I would feel uncomfortable having animals with claws fighting over the territory surrounding my balls.
