ITT we give Doss2k our opinion on drinking and driving.

Here's my opinion. It's pretty fun to do and it's not as big a deal as most people say. I don't really have a problem with it unless you wreck. As long as you are a careful drunk driver, I say keep on keepin' on.

A valid question. I do believe that some people are better at drunk driving than others. Perhaps the DMV should issue drivers license endorsements for people that can pass a basic drunk driving test.

Believe me I had a change of clothes packed in my car if I had any question in my ability to drive my ass would have slept in my car. I know enough people who have shelled out over 10k for a DUI that I'm not that stupid.

Yep crashing in my car as in sleeping in my car which was my plan all night if I didn't feel able to drive. anyone who was there would know that. I made it home alive for all my friends who left early and told me not to drive if I didn't feel able. I was there till 2 sobering up so I wouldn't drive drunk.

I was often told in college that I was a good drunk driver

While for the record I don't advocate it, I was able to basically maintain enough sobriety to always get home from the party/bar...although sometimes as soon as I got home, I'd black out, brush my teeth, and pass the hell out

But my iron will and determination allowed me to delay those effects until I was safely home

I am probably better at driving drunk because when i'm sober i have the balls to look at my phone every 8 seconds and don't pay any attention to other cars.


When i've had a few beers, its fucking cruise control on the speed limit, watch where every other single car is, and i don't check my phone even if its jesus calling me. I'm also pretty good about knowing when i can't drive and usually thats the point where i'm in the mood to keep drinking until i pass out, so i don't have to worry about it.




All in all i'm a pretty fantastic driver, have never even been close to being in an accident, and i drive probably 300-500 miles a week on average...

i too, thought i was a good drunk driver and it was cool to do....until i broke multiple bones, had multiple surgeries, racked up about 100K in medical bills and 10K in attorney fees, layed in bed for 6 months and... killed my best friend who was riding with me.

driving drunk is plain stoopid. if you do it, you're a fucking moron. if you do it enough, you'll either wreck your car, get arrested, kill yourself, kill someone else, or all of that.

get a DD or pony up the $20 for a taxi. i damn sure wish i would have.
