Post here when your sitting back home with the family, out with friends, etc..

But when you've been drinking in a situation where you normally wouldn't have due to a holiday.

First post: I'm drunk in my finances brothers home theater watching the jets beat up on the Bengals.

Lindsey must be pretty expensive for you to refer to her as a finance.

I'm getting there. Finishing up a growler I got from the beer exchange, watching my third team of the evening blow the game.

i think the first sentence, besides missing a "'re" could also be missing a "not."

but i dunno. maybe we are supposed to post here when we are with friends, fam, etc AND in other situations.

lololol. i'm confused. and finances makes me laugh.

I drank Monty Pythons Holy Grail ale last night. Moderately tasty; had 2 - not trying to get drunk.

However, that stuff TORE UP my stomach. Had to get up twice last night

Guess I'll switch over to something else in my sampler from Total Wine

Thanksgiving I was pretty gone from 12 until 8 pm when I passed out. Thinking back, I should have worn shoes when I went to pick up my Aunt from the nursing home

I'd normally be drunk on a Friday night, but I don't do it at home much anymore...makes mom jealous because she can't do the same anymore. (Although I think her doctor is an idiot. She can't drink because of drugs to help her heart. Her heart is messed up because of stress. I guarantee you that a few Manhattans would do more to alleviate stress than coumadin ever will)

But anyway, yeah, drunk on the holidays. My parents got me a flask for Christmas (which is weird, because not 24 hours ago I was thinking, "Boy, I hope I get a flask because my last one was destroyed, but there's no way my parents would think of that.") And so I had to test it to see how many drinks it would hold, and then of course any accurate experiment will need more than one iteration, and so...

Watched "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation" with everybody at the start of the experiment. The experiment ended with my brother and I watching a movie with my dad. It was "Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay." Dad fucking loves that movie.

I'm aware of that. Pretty much everyone in my family has ended up on it.

But if the root of the problem is stress, and thinning blood is a desirable outcome...whiskey does both.

Yeah, we come from more of a liquor background. And by "liquor" I mean "alcoholic liquid of questionable safety that was produced in a neighbor's barn."

Seriously though, the woman doesn't care for wine and I'm not about to prescribe something so disgusting that it's just going to increase stress.

[Edited on December 25, 2010 at 1:28 AM. Reason : AND I HAVE A PRESCRIPTION PAD...FOR PARTYING!!!]
