Ok, I'm being completely honest here.

I stood right in front of my sink, and turned around with my back TO the sink.

I turned this thing on and went to town. A mirror is nice every now and then, but for the most part, just use it like you would a back scratcher. You can pretty much go by "feel". It did NOT make a mess at all...basically all of it ended up in the sink. I looked in the mirror a few times to make sure there were no missed spots, but overall it's retardedly easy to use. You wont regret it. Best $40 I've ever spent actually.

naw, i've done this before with normal clippers. I've even shaved with a razor and also had it waxed. It's not too bad either way.
