depends on how tall you are as a guy. I'm 6' 2". If she is taller than that then no thanks. If you are 5' 5" as a guy then you can't really be picky about her height. Alas I am married and it doesn't matter.

at 6'3" I doubt I would have dated a girl taller than me...unless maybe she was a volleyball player, but even still, it could be a little weird. Same height, definitely.

Sure, being 6'+ has its advantages, but they're not all that great.

On one level, I feel sorry for really tall girls. My mom was 6'3" before she started shrinking, and she insists she had a bitch of a time finding boys to go out with her for that reason. Eventually she ran into my 6'4" dad and the problem solved itself.

On another level, I am kind of pissed at them, because I expect them to have a similar experience -- having trouble finding guys willing to deal with their height, that is -- but at the end of the day I am still too much of a cretin for my height to work to my advantage.

Like many issues regarding my height, I have mixed feelings. I do enjoy the part where I can intimidate smaller people in spite of having the physical strength of a chicken with multiple sclerosis.

If you're not a fucking pussy, it's the exact opposite. Walking into a room with a tall bombshell should make you feel like a pimp.

I've dated several girls that were an inch or two taller than me, which means several inches when they go out and wear heels. I always went with the "if it doesn't bother them, then it doesn't bother me." And it never seemed to bother them.

That being said, I prefer smaller girls...and would probably prefer them even if I were taller.

There was a period of time where the only girls who I went out with were my height (5'7) or taller. The height thing wasn't really an issue, though all of them really enjoyed wearing heels, so the height issue was +3 inches in most cases.

Not a huge deal, but if you've got a short guy complex, you're going to have issues.

Side question for the ladies, how would a guy in a wheelchair or a midget change things? Obviously most girls would be taller than a midget. With a guy in a wheelchair (not necessarily paralyzed, but maybe with weak legs or something), you wouldn't necessarily be taller than him but you'd still be looking down at him all the time.
