Okay so I have a customer that is looking for a clip for his Davis Industries P-380 gun.

He is looking for a 380 ACP and 32 ACP clip.

This is what I know:
Davis Industries is no longer is business and Cobra Firearms has taken over that gun. They make a CA 380 which apparently is the same as a P-380. They also make a CA32.

They tell me which magazine will fit in that gun, however, my company does not stock that magazine so I can't sell him that magazine.

Here is my question...
Does anyone know of another manufacturer that makes a clip that will fit into this gun?

I have looked through our catalog and we sell plenty of 380 acp magazines BUT they are 6 or 7 or 10 rnds, and the website says that these only hold 5 rnds.

Here is the website...
http://www.cobrafirearms.net/product-freedom-series-ca.asp

If any of y'all know the answer to this question I will love you forever, and so will Roger, my customer out in CA.

Well he told me that he is doing the same thing as I am, researching this and trying to find an answer. He just called us to see if we could give him more info. Tomorrow I will probably call up Cobra and ask them if they can tell me anymore, but when he asked me their customer service was already closed so I will have to wait for when I go in tomorrow.

I also called a guy who is pretty knowledgable about guns in the company, so I'm hoping he will call me back with an answer.

I just figured I'd come here and ask on the off chance that someone knows exactly what I'm looking for, you know it doesn't hurt.

Can anyone tell me what a rifle shell is?

Dude is looking for 22 Jet and 32 Remington rifle shells.

This confuses me because I thought it was shotgun shells and rifle cartridges.

I'm a noob when it comes to guns and ammo, I'm learning quickly, but I can't find anything that has to do with rifle shells.

FIRST LESSON:

IT'S A FUCKING MAGAZINE, NOT A CLIP.

^that question is over and done with. Turns out we don't sell anything that will fit what he was looking for.

The reason I used the term clip is because the customer also used the term clip.

Reply to when I dissed you in classifieds

I don't care if your customer is a dumbass. As a representative of a company that obviously deals with firearms, you should perform a public service by using proper terminology at all times.

Wow your customers are dumb. He probably wants some brass aka cases.

That is what I was thinking. I am going to give him a call tomorrow to ask him if that is what he was looking for.

I'm sort of curious where you work that you would get these kind of requests and turn to TWW for answers.

I'm going to apply for a senior engineering position tomorrow that I'm not qualified for, but I will assure the hiring manager and VP's that there are people on TWW that can do all of the work that I can't.

You know, honestly I see nothing wrong with asking tww about some of these things. I know there are probably several people on here that know quite a bit about guns.

Sometimes I get customers that are asking for something very specific, and we have hundreds of thousands of items that we stock so knowing everything about every item is impossible. I am actually learning quite a bit about things. But there are still several things that I am not sure of, and so I turned here where I can get some answers that y'all might have.

^I am qualified for the job I have, but I am also new at the job. No one expects you to come into a job and know every little thing that you are supposed to know on the first day...or even within the first month of working there. The big thing is that I am showing that I am learning, and that I am getting better at the job.
I was told that it actually takes about a year for most people to learn just the majority that you will learn at this job...

^^^Yes I do, but with my region being the north west, there are much less people there at 6 or 7 so the people that I would normally ask during normal hours have already gone home.

^^That might have been a better idea, but you can get some good answers in chit chat too.

^I do that daily. If I come across something I don't know about I am constantly on google researching things. I actually impressed the vice president of sales today in our meeting because I knew the answer to all of his questions about guns.

I don't think there's anything wrong with it, if that's what you inferred, but I am genuinely curious where you would get people that look for these kind of things. Gun shop, pawn shop?
