So being the idiot that I am, I wasnt thinking and threw a USB cable on my couch, not seeing that my girlfriends laptop was sitting there open. One of the corners barely nicked the edge of her screen, but it caused a black spot about half the size of a dime in the middle of the left hand side of the screen, and caused one of the lines of pixels to go out. Are there any computer guys out there that can fix this? If so how much?

Its a Toshiba Satellite A665-S6050 Laptop

It's easy as a few screws and unplugging/replugging the old screen/new screen. You should buy a screen from ^ and replace it yourself.

^agreed. There are plenty of how-to videos and tutorials out there...unless you're really uncomfortable doing it yourself
