Who's a fan?
I am.
I don't even play the game.
I feel straight up Korean. 12/16/2010 6:26:09 PM |

I was a fan of him and HD before I started playing, then I realized how bad they really were. If you want to see good commentating go look up day9. 12/16/2010 6:32:59 PM |

If you enjoy watching, why have you not tried playing? 12/16/2010 6:44:23 PM |

Fair enough. I wasn't planning on playing initially and just enjoyed watching the games (always been an RTS fan, didn't play sc1 much though), then I had some free time between jobs and got into it. Now that I'm working a lot it sucks to not be able to play as much . Its a great game though, you should certainly give it a try at some point, and the graphics requirements arent that high, my PC sucks. 12/16/2010 6:46:58 PM |

The positive of Day9 is that the kid is legit funny. I probably enjoy his rambling more than anything else. 12/16/2010 7:29:53 PM |

# 2.6 GHz Pentium® IV or equivalent AMD Athlon® processor # 128 MB PCIe NVIDIA® GeForce® 6600 GT or ATI Radeon® 9800 PRO video card or better # 1 GB RAM (1.5 GB required for Windows Vista®/Windows® 7 users)
Okay I guess I am a little higher then that.
AMD Athlon 64 x2 Dual Core 4200 Radeon X800 (shitty graphics card) 4 gigs of ram
But my PC is pretty outdated. 12/16/2010 8:17:37 PM |

it runs fine on my old pos core2 duo laptop with a 7900gs abit at low settings. Also runs fine on a c2d e6600 w/ 8800gts 640. Runs pretty nicely on my i7 and 5870 too.
But I haven't played this game very much since I've been playing bc2 again. 12/16/2010 8:31:00 PM |

it runs fine on my shitty amd... athlon? (some 2.2GHz dual core that was okay two years ago) with 3 GB of RAM and... a fucking 3200 HD Raedon or something shitty like that.
it'll run even better on the i7 and awesome ATI graphics card rig i will be buying in ~6 months. 12/16/2010 8:37:08 PM |

the 6900 series were announced this week although they aren't the 32nm process we were lead to believed. Apparently a little hard to do so they just kept it at 40nm. Haven't seen the performance yet, but a small upgrade of 5800 series with 2GB of ram instead of 1. 12/16/2010 9:04:35 PM |

husky was cool to listen to but then he went the way of day9 and spent too much time talking about personal shit that i could care less about (like his dogs), especially during replay casts

I'm in this boat. Day9 is straight up hilarious and he knows more about the game than most all of the 'color' commentators put together.
For zerg specific stuff i also like spystarcraft and artosisTV sometimes has some decent stuff from korea.12/17/2010 9:02:20 AM |
