I need help soldering this LCD into my car's dash. I got the old one out but I don't have the tools to get this one in properly. Please let me know if you're willing to do it for $50. It's probably a 20-30 min job. Here are some pics:

Out of curiosity, what did you get it out with that you can't get it back in with? 12/17/2010 6:58:32 AM |

Yeah, how did you get it apart? It's a bit hard to tell from the pics if a regular iron will work. I have a hot air gun but I'm 3 hrs away. 12/17/2010 7:18:40 AM |

You need to remove the old solder and probably get some flux on there to clean the pads up. A fine tip iron, some fine solder, and a lot of patience are going to be required.
