I think we should reclaim them... There are some pretty cool bars with pretty awesome bartenders out there but at 10:30-11:00 they get over run by snotty douche bags.

I went out there last night and had a good time making fun of well this most recent edition of rich douche-bags.

Then again... i guess it is their home... its just so sad.

shit works...in places like 5 points, you probably wear skinny jeans and a weird T-shirt at the times to get laid, different strokes for different folks

but lets all be in agreement, men wear whatever they think is more likely to get them laid, they don't really care about style, we would all rather be wearing sweat pants

its not really frat culture. i mean they buy into it, but its really about having money. often the frat guys that are into it the most aren't really from money and probably used to wear cargo shorts and abercrombie in the 90's. the 45 year old at a country club look is all about traditional, classic looks that haven't changed much in decades.

Ok, i can understand classic, dressy attire. But that combined with "peacocking" just makes them look like the ultimate in self centered douchebag technology.

I'm pretty sure you judged them much harder by their dress than they judged you by yours.
You just sound silly.

look sumfoo1, you may think that we are judging you but really we probably don't even notice you. you, however, have decided that we are all rich, snotty douchebags.

Here is an idea, if you don't want to go to a bar with rich people stop trying to go out in areas you can't afford to live.

Anyway i wrote 2 pages of shit about the entire happenings of the evening but essentially the summary is i found people who try too hard to look classy are probably classless.

sumfoo1, I feel you. It's not just the style of dress, of course--I've met lots of cool guys who like to dress like my dad, and lots of "non-conormist" types who are ridiculously obnoxious. You really can't tell coolness from the way people dress.

There are some super cheap places to live in Five Points.

^ The eighteenth century at the very latest. Most likely, though, just after money was invented.

^^I think this is more about douche bags than rich people.

But, to be clear, it's always been cool to hate rich people.

Though I do have a little thing for artsy boys, that classic style will always win my heart

Also I can't pay my girl to go with me to Five Points I've been wanting to hit up The Point for a while now. It's been too long!

I used to go to Fosters a lot, but it was always better on Saturdays.

I'll add that spot to my list of places to hit up again.

i realize that some people consider the stuff as far south as capital five points, but its really not five points. My parents live on Cowper, that's Five Points.

"So we can agree on this:
-Frat boys can have 5 points and Cameron.
-Indies can have downtown (The Rialto will be relocated, of course).
-Dragon Shirts/Gelheads get Glenwood.
-The “ethnic crowd” can have the warehouse district but will have to share Buckhead with the Gelheads and underage frat boys occasionally.
-Ugly Monkey and City Limits will have a train that ships in directly from Johnston County so that they may not ruin any of our nights.
Addendum #1: Crossing borders is acceptable after 1am when picking up a drunk girl for a sure thing booty call. Flying a white flag is encouraged.
Addendum #2: The 30+ crowd may eat dinner at any of these locations(prior to 8:45 pm)but when crossing boarders yield the right to complain about ANYTHING and must vacate the premises at the request of the locations patrons. The “patrons” being whomever is dressed in the popular dress of the given location…..you know you are already judging how tight/loose/khaki their pants are.
Addendum #3: No one from Johnston County may eat Inside the Beltline. Not even from hot dog vendors.
Regards,
BDC VI"
