It's just my parents and my brother this year. By 9pm we'll have all gone our separate ways anyway. Mom will be in bed reading, dad will be sleeping in front of the TV pretending to watch British theater. Bro will be out with his friends and I'll be trying to cajole the few homebodies I still know in this town to go out for a beer.

I don't mind being at home with my parents at all. However I definitely want to see some friends in Charlotte that I don't see that often and I know my parents are gonna be disappointed when I go out at night instead of spending more QT with them.

I'll want to go out christmas eve, but I have only heard of one place staying open past 6, and that is only til 10. Plenty of places will be open christmas day night though

The bars I go to are open every day except the day of their Christmas party, which is usually in mid/late January. Christmas Eve is no exception.

borough and neptunes are definitely 100% going to be open

Can't really escape work. We're having to "track Santa with StormTracker 3D" this evening. I can't believe they are making me use the "bug" to put up "Santa Watches" and "Santa Advisories" and run crawls about where Santa is currently. Boy, do I love working on Christmas!
