Our stockings are the size of a small child. As such...we get things like cleaning products, paper towels & toilet paper. It's pretty grand.

I love stockings. Even/especially ones filled with random household things I need like the cleaning products and batteries.

I also enjoy things like little bottles of lotion, small toy sorts of things (decks of cards, etc.), kitchen doodads (bottle opener, small measuring cup set, whatever), plus candy and all the more "normal" things.

i typically put candy, maybe socks, maybe a small lego set, etc in chris's stocking.

mom puts candy, soap, chapstik, ornaments, all kinds of completely random shit.

i'd put my foot down at cleaning products. that's bullshit

i love stockings!! our family tradition has always been to do stockings last

there is the random stuff in there like the lifesavers candy book, random kitchen stuff and at the very bottom is always the BEST little gift. the past 4 years my parents have given me a nice piece of jewelry in the bottom of my stocking.

shit i'll actually use like cleaning products = why thank you now I don't have to buy more

but this has become our tradition w/ my parents since I lived on my own at 19, and I like it. I get that's not the coolest stocking stuffer ever, but again...I like it.



Husband and I don't really do stockings...I mean, I like to but he usually forgets to put something in mine. Whatever may (or may not) be in there is just a small gift or two (b/c our stockings are much smaller than the ones at my parents' house) which may be wrapped/may not.
