Just opened one of several documents I have to read before class on Monday. Happily it was only 13 pages. But then, out of nowhere, I scroll down to the second page and the rest of the pages are doubled up, 2 real pages to each pdf page. I hate when this happens. Surprise double PDF FTL. 1/9/2011 1:04:19 AM |

I mean.... I WOULD feel sorry for you.
But I did the math... and as it turns out, I was reading several thousand pages a week in grad school

I've got about 300 pages to read this weekend. And that is before classes even started. I'm sure it will pick up once they do.
I'm feeling some major senioritis with my last semester of grad school. For serious. 1/9/2011 1:25:04 AM |

I would consider grad school more if i weren't so ADD/internet/instant gratification-wired. they're be no way in hell i'd survive. i barely made it through undergrad as it is. 1/9/2011 1:30:04 AM |

At least a masters program is usually only 2 years, which helps if you're someone who burns out quickly. So its closer to instant gratification than undergrad was. What would you go to grad school for if you did?
I was asked to consider the PHD program for my field, but I'm so ready to finish. Not to mention my savings, from what I could put aside while working between undergrad and grad school, are basically dried up and I'm back on student loans again... don't want to add any more of those than I have to.
