He's talking about when the Technician posted an article making fun of how Sorority girls dressed and acted alike. To protest this they showed up outside of WKNC and Witherspoon and had a little rally.

Ironically (or maybe not ironically) they all dressed nearly identically and had the gigantic stupid sunglasses on.
