2. P.F. Chang's (yeah yeah chain restaurant but miles above pearl or anything near campus)

I guess you could check out Jade Garden or Beansprout if you want something cheaper (both on HB street)

^where have you been man, david left DD a looong time ago and opened his own restaurant (david's dumplings which I mentioned), and DD closed not long ago because the new management/chef couldn't get the boat turned around

davids dumpling is amazing. food is good, atmosphere is great, and prices are very reasonable. I wish he had a little more on the menu, but what he does have is really good. And i think they finally found something that will last in the old Daryls building!

problem i've found is that no place (besides pei wei or pf changs) actually makes it spicy.

i always tell them, "I WANT IT VERY SPICY". and then it still isn't spicy... might as well be sesame chicken

same with hunan beef/chicken/shrimp

i have tried most of the chinese places around campus, red dragon has the very best. Their sauce is awesome, not super spicy, but lots of flavor. They use good chicken too, not the fatty shit most places around here serve.

although I did always have to tell them 'extra spicy' at least twice and it still was pretty meh

you want spicy food, go to this Thai place on Capital, Sawasdee

I can also attest to this! Went there today and the food is very high quality compared to most Chinese places. You can get lunch (meal, eggroll, and an ice tea) for $7.50.
