Empire of the Sun?? Looks like they've gone for a more indie electronic demographic this year. Nice line-up. I've always felt like going there would make me uncomfortable though. Too many people rolling their face off makes me feel uneasy and kind of dirty, since I wouldn't dare touch that shit again.

Some of these are pretty sick, but electronic culture makes me pretty mad. Its all just a cover up for drug transactions. I'm not against drugs or anything i just hate consistently running into people who are not socially lubricated. Gets pretty old

anyone know about getting Tiesto tickets? i didn't hear about girltalk at disco rodeo until tickets were sold out

when i talk about dance music with most people they will mention either Sandstorm or Tiesto so I'm sure it will sell out quick

I'll probably go to Tiesto, but it will only be perpetuating my experience with electronic music at the Longbranch.

Both times I've been have been very odd, WTF, "so ridiculous it's funny" kind of experiences.

yeah i found "bubble's largest event yet" on facebook which was a rave at longbranch

i got there and it looked pretty sketch, also there was no one visible from outside and I couldn't hear any music so I left. At the same time I was entering the club, there was a hick guy leaving who said "fuck this club"

HAHAHAHA I was there. At 1am, the music got moved from the small, side room to the bigger dance floor where some top 40/hip hop was being played, and many of the country folks were upset. It was kinda fun, but it was the most disappointing EDM event I've ever been to, music-wise :-/
