Anyone else been yet?

it's at the corner of Dawson and W Martin St where Joe's Mom's Place used to be. Good sandwiches and burgers and 66 beers on tap.

Anyhow, I'm hosting trivia there now on thursday nights, 8:30pm 1st place $50 GC 2nd and 3rd place $25 GC

If you've never been you should stop in tonight!!!!

atmosphere.... meh
waitresses... not hot, nor scantily clad. Nor friendly.
food... meh
beer selection.... not bad

overall, I'd go here only on Wed. when they have $3 pints....

The place can't figure out what it really wants to be. Food is okay, but nothing to rave about. If you're gonna be a rat rod kinda place, what the fuck do you need a bunch of big screen tvs tuned to sports channels?

The Hangover is, however, a good burger, even if the fried egg on it pissed its yolk all over me Saturday.

We went for lunch and the food was decent but the service was seriously bad. Food took about 45 minutes to be brought out and the waitresses were running it to the wrong tables with no communication with each other. And this was 3 waitresses working about 8 tables with none bigger than a 6-top.

We used a Groupon (or Twongo or Z-Spotlight) deal so I didn't feel like I wasn't getting my money's worth, but I doubt we'll be back.

from the looks of the terrible graphic design on the posters, it's the same owners, just messing with the concept

and the cherry bomb concept had already been heavily toned down from the original idea

i give it three months after reopening

I went there and really enjoyed it. My crabcake sandwich was hands down the BEST i'd ever had. The bread/bun was amazing, as well as the sauce they topped the crabcake with. Had a nice spicy kick to it. They also have a GREAT collection of local beers on tap. I'll be going again, even after they change to "Brewmasters grill and pub". It's still the same owners, they're just trying to change their image.

It's owned by the same people that own the homebrew shop on Capital Blvd. "American Brewmaster".

I really dont see what all the hate is for. I had great service, great food, and the live music was actually pretty entertaining the night I was there.

The service was slow, the food mediocre and the bands flat out sucked. The only draw that place had for me was the pinball machine.

Yeah the partners/owners had a falling out, the one guy owned the concept so he said Cherry Bomb No More.

Trivia is still thursday nights at 8:30pm...

As far as service is concerned, i've never had a problem and on thursday nights it gets pretty packed and i never hear anyone complaining...

In almost every restaurant/bar thread on TWW, it's the same people who rush to say that the place sucks. Maybe they just go out more or are more opinionated than others? Just an observation...

I think they need to call the place "(Insert Name Here) Bar and Grill."

The menu is almost exactly the same. They renamed the Cherry Bomb burger...the Brewmaster. How gay.

This place needs to come up with something that truly sets it apart from everywhere else, and I think it's gonna take more than horrible cherry/beer marmalade on a fucking burger. Destined to shit the bed soon, methinks.
