All of the Verizon android users in the office today had jacked up phones this morning. One is on a droid X, the other a droid 2 (non-global.)

Symptoms were mixed up contacts and erroneous contact reporting. For instance I called the droid X user from my phone and it showed up as his wife. He was also receiving text messages from his sons soccer coach - but they were showing up as an unrecognized contact.

Anyone else having issues?

Clinton, NC got haxored then. Thx for the report.

(On a side note my boss ordered a new Droid X, and turned his in for a loaner at the Verizon Store. The other coworker is replacing hers after work today. Nuts. Apparently Verizon knew about some kind of problem, they're replacing both phones for free.)

I could be wrong, but I thought it was common procedure to replace a software-fucked phone for a new yet same model.

Reason being, I watched a guy bring in a fucked Samsung and wanted to swap for an Evo or something, and they said there would be a $35 restocking fee since it wasn't the same phone

My incredible was frozen when I woke up this morning. Unplugged it, and it kept acting screwy. Did a battery pull, and haven't had any more issues today.

Haven't had this happen before, but it's probably an unrelated coincidence.
