Noble Pils and Boston Ale are definitely my favorite (non-premium) Sam Adams Beers.
I can't think of a better US-made Pils, except for:

to be fair, the White Ale used to be Sam Adams spring seasonal, it was just recently replaced by the former specialty beer, Noble Pils

White Ale is only distributed from November through December now

Yea I'm with DROD's info- I read about the White Ale losing its spot as the spring seasonal early last year, when I first saw Noble Pils on tap. Even if it is available in Nov-Dec, I never found it around here.

Really stinks, because I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I'll have to try the white ale next time around, but the noble pils was still as good as I remembered. It just has a really nice, crisp flavor without being overly hoppy. I like hoppy beers too, but this is a nice change

Fuck these ahead of the curve seasonal beer rotations!

We've got 2 months of winter left and it's already getting hard to find some of my favorite winter seasonals in the bars. I love seasonal beers, but winter beers are my favorite and it's complete crap for spring beers to be rolling out before January's even over with.


Also fuck a Noble Pils, it tastes like my ass crack.
