not to be a debbie downer, but if you're having problems with this you'll never make it through 220

200 is only hard because most people are terrible at teaching it and forget that students have basically 0 knowledge of the subject. That being said, you shouldn't be having trouble this early in the semester... and good luck in the lab. ^exactly

then again 220 is hard, mostly for the exact same reason.

One of my friends is in the Eng Frat and they do still offer free tutoring but you're not really guaranteed to get someone to help you super regularly, like you would if you just paid someone. best of luck.

It's not unreasonable at all the be struggling with ECE200, at least for the first half of the class until you get accustomed to the pace and volume of work.

Although it is significantly easier than when the REAL engineers had to take it 5-6 years ago and back

Yeah, they don't have to do 14 page lab reports every week. I can shit out reports at my job because of that class.

i'm taking 220 this semester and so far it's a breeze... I don't get it. I know for a fact at least 1/2 of the class got a D or F on the first homework assignment... I <3 Dr. Ozturk (Both of them )

I had a solid B through most of ECE 200. But after some studying and reviewing, I aced the final and pulled it up to an A. Paying attention to the labs and applying what you've learned really helped me visualize and make sense of everything, not that the concepts taught in class didn't... I actually enjoyed the lab reports, but the changed it last year and made the requirements much shorter than the previous years

Hoozturk is one of the better ECE220 professors in the department. There were a string of abject failures for several years, the likes of white and nilsson, and thats why it has such a bad rap.

My only complaint with Hoo was that she wrote and spoke so quickly i was too busy getting everything copied to follow the new concepts she was explaining. But certainly didn't have any trouble paying attention in her class.

trussell was horrible, both times...but I did pass and graduate. Everything was easy after ECE220.

Good luck with ECE200 man, be sure to get up to speed, so you can tackle 220 and not start off behind...

Sometimes shit just doesn't click. For awhile, i struggled with getting pointers and references straight in my head until one day I guess I thought about it differently and it just made sense.
