Thanks guys! I am awake and medicated. Still hurt, but not like last night. I appreciate everyone for the advice and helping to convince me to come in. Brett was at work and I had planned on staying home til he got off, but I am glad I had Toms House bring me to the hospital right then. Of course once Brett got my frantic messages he left early

Thanks!! Oh, and the dr just came in and said I also had some blood in my pelvis which was apparently because I also had a ruptured ovarian cyst. Yay me

That's exactly what I had when I went to er for same type of stomach pain. Ruptured cysts aren't a joke! And you had the double whammy poor thing.

I thought you might of had a ruptured cyst, but I'm not doctor, so I didn't feel that I should be giving advice other than to go see a doctor.

the first time i went to the ER for stomach pain, they thought it was my appendix but it ended up being a ruptured cyst (which is quite painful and mimics the symptoms of appendicitis). then 3 years later, i actually had appendicitis with no symptoms. go figure.

to help ease the feeling of being stuck in a hospital, treat the nurses as your servants and make demands, like cupcakes and flowers for all your visitors. Also, ask for a gold hospital bed for your throne. Biofreak70 should bring you a crown from Burger King.

I really wanna share how awesome Brett was today. I would post in WAYTATVM, but didn't want to force anyone who doesn't care to read it. But seriously, I have the best fiance ever!! Not only did he leave work early yesterday to come be by m yside at the hospital, but he stayed from about 6:30 pm until about 1:30 a.m when I went in for surgery. He left my parents there with me while he went to walk the puppy and sleep. He was gone MAYBE 4 hrs and was back first thing this morning. And when came he brought with him 2 sets of my clothes, my toothbrush/toothpaste, hair brush, computer, my waterbottle (filled with ice because he knows how I love ice) and my make-up/facial cleansers. None of which did I ask for. He then stayed with me for all but like 2 hrs this afternoon when he went to walk the dog and eat lunch. He's the best and I am so lucky
