Airs this Saturday at 9 PM on HBO. A play written by McCarthy and adapted for film, starring Samuel L. Jackson and Tommy Lee Jones. Should be pretty awesome. Trailer here:

I apologize if there is already a thread for this somewhere; I couldn't find one. 2/9/2011 10:37:34 AM |

I had a hard time nailing down exactly what this is about based on the trailer, but it looks intriguing nonetheless. 2/10/2011 2:02:11 PM |

Goddamnit what the fuck HBO I want to see this.
...kinda weird that McCarthy did this though. Not really his style. 2/10/2011 2:21:26 PM |

Anyone watch it?
I thought it was pretty good, great acting obviously, and some pretty well written lines.
The downside for me was that it seemed like a play based on a dormroom debate. By the end I wanted to send Cormac McCarthy Froshkiller's religious rant.
What did everyone think of the ending? 2/14/2011 11:50:45 AM |
