Here's an example of book smarts vs street smarts, I'm interested in other stories, please post

So, went to Duke Medical Center the other day (Thursday), took 15-501 from fayetteville b/c i didnt want to deal with traffic on 40 in the morning, somehow my dad took us through UNC, i woke up realized we were right in the middle of franklin st and said "this is not right, we are mildly lost"

Dad's solutions "just ask one of these kids were duke is"
Me "seriously, do you know what happened yesterday?"

Generally he is a very smart man, but this would have been disastrous
