That's true. Gawker might literally be the worst design I've ever seen in my entire life.

Gawker SUCKS.

Facebook is a very near second.

In other news I just saw a product come out of our pipe at work and as the boss was all "holy @#(* that's the baddest thing I've seen in a LONG while" I was all "ah crap, we get like 150 people on there and this is going to take a week to load." He wants to load in your entire photo album from facebook, photobucket, flikr, and everywhere else with an API all at once using ajax so you can navigate around them using cool flips and stuff.

some APIs are better than others - flickr's is nice for example, but when I used it I was just pulling URLs and not actual data


but for real fuck all that noise

EasyList is the answer to all your problems, it's even available as a Tracking Protection List for IE9 RC
(actually Fanboy's list is better if you use Opera but whatev)
