Legal? Can you get them through security etc?

Google says no, but friends say yes. Whats the deal with BYOB slizzurpness in flight?

you can probably use the same techniques to get them through airport security as carter-finley security.

yes, you can take them in the quart bag, assuming they are less than 3.4 oz.

no, you can not legally consume alcohol on the plane that was not served by a flight attendant.

im a frugal motherfucker and i still buy alcohol on airplanes

just ask for doubles (2 doubles is ok to ask for, then maybe 1 more after that)

but remember its an airplane, not a bar so its best to order up bc you might not see the flight attendant for awhile

only if you fly in the back - some larger planes now have a full bar in the front

And remember that the cabin atmosphere is not the same as sea level atmosphere, so you will be more impacted by less alcohol.

that is a myth

alcohol is metabolized at the same rate, regardless of altitude

turned out to be true, thx.

southwest wasn't the biggest fan though, so we bought a couple from them too after exhausting our supplies

1. Arrive at the airport at least 3 hours before your flight is scheduled to leave
2. Get wasted in the airport bars
3. Pull your shit together for long enough to board the plane and get to your seat
4. Pass the fuck out

you can definitely go through with security with a quart bag filled to the brim with airplane bottles. the airlines may not be fans of the lost revenue, but it's no problem getting them through security.

drinking on the plane is generally cheaper than drinking in a bar at the airport

just take the airplane bottles thru security in your quart bag in your carry on, then buy a soda at the airport. you can take a drink purchased in the airport on a plane.

A $3 mixer and four airplane bottles is the way to go.
