if you were in London you would "pluck a rose" referring to the large number of whores on Rose Street

I'd also suggest you look to Chaucer's Canterbury Tales (especially the Wife of Bath's Tale)

The Wife of Bath's use of the word "queynte" is pretty amusing
she is referring to her domestic duties (thus the word "quaint") and female genitalia (a root of the word "cunt")

that's towards the end of the 14th century as well

Quote :
"One of the most popular fashion accessories of the Middle Ages was the codpiece – a flap or pouch that attached to the front of the crotch of men's trousers and accentuated it in such a way as to emphasize or exaggerate the genitals. They were stuffed with sawdust or cloth and held closed by string ties, buttons, or other methods. The crotch was often extremely large or gave the idea of an erect penis. The word, codpiece, comes from the Middle English word, cod, which means scrotum.

Another symbol of virility in fashion was a style of shoe called the poulaine. These were long, pointy-toed shoes, that were also meant to suggest the size of the wearer’s penis – the longer point, the more virile the man."

I'm sure your answer is by far the most accurate and informative.

But if you expect me to read Chaucer or any other old to middle English stuff, you're off your gourd.

Although I did get a good laugh not long ago when someone on this site (possibly you) referred me to the existence of a number of Gropecunt Lanes in Great Britain.

I'm sure it was your link I clicked, that shit can't be coming up too often on here.

Their efforts to rename the streets in ways that sound similar but aren't dirty amused me.

I saw the morning dew betwixt thine thighs
As I removed my source of Grecian power
As if King Midas dared to touch the skies
Upon thy body fell a golden shower

Thy body's temples, two church bells had rung
Upon thy chest, a row of pearls bestowed
The sun had set, thy set with wary hung
I thought, "How black a night and blue a lode"

I said, "What light through yonder beaver breaks?
It is the yeast"

And now my belly's yellow
My pole gives cause to storms and earthy quakes
But 'tis not massive, I am no Othello

And when that final moment came to pass
Like Christ I came-a riding on an ass.

"Come into her garden and taste the choice fruits"

Quote :
"How beautiful you are, my darling!
      Oh, how beautiful!
      Your eyes behind your veil are doves.
Your hair is like a flock of goats
      descending from the hills of Gilead.
Your teeth are like a flock of sheep just shorn,
      coming up from the washing.
Each has its twin;
      not one of them is alone.
Your lips are like a scarlet ribbon;
      your mouth is lovely.
Your temples behind your veil
      are like the halves of a pomegranate.
Your neck is like the tower of David,
      built with courses of stone;
on it hang a thousand shields,
      all of them shields of warriors.
Your breasts are like two fawns,
      like twin fawns of a gazelle
      that browse among the lilies.
Until the day breaks
      and the shadows flee,
I will go to the mountain of myrrh
      and to the hill of incense.
You are altogether beautiful, my darling;
      there is no flaw in you.

Come with me from Lebanon, my bride,
      come with me from Lebanon.
Descend from the crest of Amana,
      from the top of Senir, the summit of Hermon,
from the lions’ dens
      and the mountain haunts of leopards.
You have stolen my heart, my sister, my bride;
      you have stolen my heart
with one glance of your eyes,
      with one jewel of your necklace.
How delightful is your love, my sister, my bride!
      How much more pleasing is your love than wine,
and the fragrance of your perfume
      more than any spice!
Your lips drop sweetness as the honeycomb, my bride;
      milk and honey are under your tongue.
The fragrance of your garments
      is like the fragrance of Lebanon.
You are a garden locked up, my sister, my bride;
      you are a spring enclosed, a sealed fountain.
Your plants are an orchard of pomegranates
      with choice fruits,
      with henna and nard,
nard and saffron,
      calamus and cinnamon,
      with every kind of incense tree,
      with myrrh and aloes
      and all the finest spices.
You are a garden fountain,
      a well of flowing water
      streaming down from Lebanon.

Awake, north wind,
      and come, south wind!
Blow on my garden,
      that its fragrance may spread everywhere.
Let my beloved come into his garden
      and taste its choice fruits. "
