there's nothing in it really expect a bunch of rolled-up hotfixes. you're not missing much

There's the redistributable link. Their servers seem to be doing fine. I just pulled 'em down at 1.4MB/sec. Not bothering to mirror that.

I wanted to knock it out so it didn't interupt me and force a restart without me able to see it later when I'mgaming but it's taking forever. Like twice as long as it took to install windows 7

i rebooted mid update because it wasn't moving, it booted into a commandline updater, which went quickly. and after reboot took <5 minutes
