Some friends are planning a Saturday kayaking trip in a couple of weeks and I've always wanted to get into it. I'm not looking for anything to be used on whitewater. It does need to accommodate a larger frame, though, since I'm 6'1" and 235lbs.

I'm not in Raleigh, but I get up there often enough, so if you have something, let me know. Cheapish would be nice. Color doesn't matter.

I have an Old Town Otter that I might be willing to get rid of. It is a couple years old and has a scotty rod holder installed in it. PM me if interested.
